I am up on the Sketches In Thyme Blog today with a sketch by Shawn Lahr. I used some older pictures of my granddaughter for this sketch. I also used a chipboard circle piece by Creative Embellishments on the layout. I used an older paper pack by Amy Tangerine called Sketchbook.
So here is my take on sketch #290.
Hi all. This is my take on Sara's sketch for Sketches In Thyme. It is a linear layout and I thought it would work well for this picture of my sisters-in-law and me. We were brought together by marriage but we are best friends by choice. Here is my layout. I tried some mixed media and am still not to sure about it. I usually do very clean layouts.
I am playing along with Stuck Sketches this month. I am excited when I am able to join in and use one of Laura Whitaker's sketches. I really like her sketches. Here is my take on the sketch for the 1st of July. It is of my husband as he caught his 1st black crappie. He was super excited to catch it.
I am up on the Sketches In Thyme Blog today with a sketch by Brenshevia. It was the perfect sketch for this picture of me and my daughter. She is such a lovely person and I love her so much. She is my best friend too. Here is my take on the sketch.
I am up on the Sketches In Thyme Challenge Blog today. The sketch is by the wonderful Brenda Ragsdale. We are so lucky to have a place on the lake and I love taking pictures of the sunrise.
I used a prima paper pack called You and Me and the stars are from Creative Embellishments. The arrow strip is from a CTMH paper pack called Hello Beautiful. I used stickles to glitter the stars and used Vintage Photo ink to ink the paper edges.
I am playing along with The Rediscover Your Stash Facebook group and also with http://stucksketches.blogspot.com/ I used the Laura Whitaker sketch for the May 15th challenge. I am so excited because I have been able to play along with different challenge groups this month.
I am playing along with Khristina and Sara in the Rediscover your stash group and used my stash to make this layout. It is with Bo Bunny paper the Modern Miss Collection from a few years back.
I used a sketch from http://mycreativesketches.blogspot.com/
Here is the cute sketch I used, I tried to stay pretty close to the sketch.
I am playing along with Sara Scraps and Khristina over at Rediscover Your Stash - 40 days of NO Spending just using. I made my kit from a pack of paper from Bo Bunny Modern Miss and other things from my stash from way back. I also used stamps from CTMH. I used mist and splattered some off white cardstock. Boy do I need to use my stash up and make some room. LOL!!!
