I love Sketches In Thyme and their weekly sketches. This is my take on the the sketch from week one. # 331. I love the background element of this sketch. I did not do circles for my element. I don't believe we have to use the same elements in sketches and that is what makes sketches a wonderful starting spot for creation. I wanted to use music notes as the background element as these pictures are for my Granddaughter's Choir Concert. Here is my interpretation of the sketch.
I worked with a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap today. It is done by Lisa Hidy. I used pictures from my granddaughters recent dance recital for it. I used a kit that I have had for several years now call Modern Miss by Bo Bunny. I am on a mission to use up stash that I have been hoarding. I am also playing along with Sara Scraps and Kristina Sorge on their Facebook group. So here is my take on the sketch by Lisa. I think it turned out beautifully.
This is my last layout for the Sketches In Thyme team as a DT. I love Sketches In Thyme and enjoyed my time there so much. The ladies there are fantastic. Thank you Kim for believing in me. The sketch is by Brenshevia and I had so much fun creating with it. My granddaughter is so beautiful and I love to document her accomplishments. I used a kit I have been hoarding for a while now. It is from Pink Fresh Studio and Pink Paisley and also Crate Paper. I love all the girly stuff in these papers.
Where does time go? It seems that it was just Christmas and now all of the sudden it is the last week in February. WOW!!! Here is my layout for this month. It is of my wonderful husband opening Christmas presents. I used CTMH paper. Check out the blog over at Sketches In Thyme to see the rest of team 4's layouts. This sketch is by the wonderful Shawn Lahr. Here is my layout. I am also going to enter it into the Paper Girls Challenge Blog.
